It was opened in 1909 in Salomone yard. Small-sized but it followed the basic laws of hygiene and was appropriate to the principle of a modern town.

In 1904 Giuseppe Rizzo, town councillor at that time, suggested to demolish an old ruined house in order to build a fish shop. It was opened in 1909 in Salomone yard. Small-sized but it followed the basic laws of hygiene and was appropriate to the principle of a modern town.
